Fed's Harker: Rate Cut Still Possible Later This Year
Federal Reserve's Harker stated that as the U.S. financial system faces increasing challenges, the deficit must be controlled, expressing "great concern" over the current government fiscal situation. Harker also mentioned, "We are becoming increasingly blind regarding key data. We are worried that the quality of economic data is declining. Uncertainty makes it very difficult to forecast the outlook for monetary policy. However, amid uncertainty, the Federal Reserve may still cut interest rates later this year."
