Brazilian securitization firm VERT launches on-chain credit platform on XRP Ledger, issues $130 million in agricultural bonds
According to ChainCatcher, citing a report from CoinDesk, Brazilian securitization company VERT has launched a blockchain-based private credit platform on the XRP Ledger and issued agricultural receivables certificates worth 700 million Brazilian reals (approximately 130 million US dollars).
According to the official statement, the system integrates on-chain records and off-chain redundancy, thereby connecting Brazil's regulated financial infrastructure with blockchain infrastructure.
