Data: Bitlayer Active Addresses Up 118% in the Past 7 Days, TVL Rises to Top Spot Among BTC Layer 2s
On August 21, according to DeFiLlama data, the current TVL of Bitlayer, a Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure project, stands at $430 million, making it the leading project in the Bitcoin Layer 2 ecosystem. Additionally, Nansen data shows that in the past seven days, the number of active addresses on the Bitlayer chain has increased by 118% to 27,700, the fastest growth among major public blockchains. According to official information, the YBTC series of assets issued by Bitlayer has recently been officially launched and successfully deployed across multiple chain ecosystems, including BSC, Sui, Avalanche, Ethereum, and Plume. Recently, the minting and staking activities of YBTC on various protocols have driven the rapid growth of active addresses on Bitlayer. It is understood that Bitlayer plans to further expand its integration and cooperation with more leading protocols in the future.
