Jinse Finance reported that Ethereum's next hard fork upgrade, "Fusaka," has been successfully deployed and finalized earlier on the Holesky testnet, marking a key first step toward its mainnet launch. The Fusaka upgrade aims to reduce the cost of operations on Ethereum, particularly benefiting institutional users and Layer2 networks. One of its key features is PeerDAS, which will help lower costs for L2s and validators by optimizing data verification methods. According to the plan, Fusaka will undergo two more testnet runs on October 14 and October 28. After all these tests are completed, Ethereum core developers will finalize the specific date for Fusaka's mainnet launch.
