ChainCatcher reported that Meanwhile, a life insurance company denominated in BTC, announced the completion of an $820 million financing round, co-led by Haun Ventures and Bain Capital Crypto, with participation from Pantera Capital, Apollo, Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures, and Stillmark.
It is reported that the company provides life insurance policies denominated in bitcoin for its clients, with all premiums, policy values, and claims managed in bitcoin.
