The three major U.S. stock indexes closed lower collectively, with the Golden Dragon Index falling by 2%.
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, U.S. stocks closed lower on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average preliminarily closed down 0.5%, the S&P 500 Index fell 0.28%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 0.08%. Nvidia (NVDA.O) rose nearly 2%, while Google (GOOG.O), Apple (AAPL.O), and AMD (AMD.O) all fell about 1%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed down 2%, with Alibaba (BABA.N) and Baidu (BIDU.O) both falling 4%, and XPeng Motors (XPEV.N) dropping 5%.
