Zelensky visits the U.S. for the third time in eight months, arrives at the White House to meet with Trump
Jinse Finance reported, citing CCTV News, that on the afternoon of October 17 local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky arrived at the White House for a meeting with U.S. President Trump. This is Zelensky's third visit to the White House in eight months. Subsequently, the two sides began talks in the White House Cabinet Room. Zelensky expressed his pleasure at seeing Trump again. Zelensky stated, "I believe this is an important opportunity to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict." He also mentioned that he had met with several American energy and military-industrial companies, who expressed their willingness to assist Ukraine in repairing damaged energy infrastructure and strengthening cooperation on air defense systems. According to multiple sources, the two sides are expected to discuss issues such as the U.S. providing Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
