What is Passkey and How to Secure Your Bitget Account with It

How to set up your Bitget Passkey

To set up a passkey, you will need a compatible device and browser. Currently, passkeys are supported on:

● Apple devices running iOS 16, iPadOS 16, or macOS Ventura with Safari or Chrome browsers

● Google devices running Android 9+ with Chrome browser

Once you have a compatible device and browser, you can follow these steps to set up a passkey:

1. Log in to your Bitget account from your compatible device and browser.

2. Enter your security center and select "Passkey." Once the information is reviewed, click Next.

3. You will be prompted to unlock your device to create a passkey. On iPhones, you can use Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to unlock your device. On Android devices, you can use the face or fingerprint scan, PIN, or Pattern to unlock your device (depending on what device lock is set up on your device).

4. You should be automatically directed to your Bitget home screen when completed.

How to use your Bitget Passkey

Once you have created a passkey, you can use it to log in to your Bitget account on any compatible device. To log in with a passkey, simply:

1. Enter your email address on the Bitget login page.

2. Click the "Login with Passkey" or tap on the "Biometrics Verification" button.

3. Follow the onscreen instructions to confirm your identity by unlocking your device.
