U.S. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce said in an interview that she still plans to move forward with her "safe harbour for tokens" plan. It's been nearly three years since Peirce released her updated Token Safe Harbor Proposal 2.0, and she said, "I think we definitely need a version 3.0 if the government wants to keep cryptocurrency innovation alive in the United States. There is room to address the legitimate concerns of cryptocurrency sceptics alongside the legitimate concerns of innovators." Hester Peirce says she hasn't laid out the details of 3.0 yet, but she's open to ideas that people bring to her.
