According to official news, Core Chain has announced a partnership with D3 Global. By integrating existing internet infrastructure, they aim to enhance the accessibility and growth of a broader Web3 ecosystem, introducing the next billion-level Web3 users. Existing Web3 naming solutions do not provide interoperability with traditional internet infrastructure (including DNS domain name systems, websites, emails and devices). The collaboration with D3 Global will enable Core Chain users to have their own exclusive .core top-level domains and bridge the gap between Web1, Web2 and Web3 without needing third-party software or integration for access by over 5.3 billion Internet users.
Rich Rines, an early contributor to Core Chain said: "We are delighted to partner with D3 Global in bridging the gap between traditional internet and web 3 infrastructures. Since our network went live we already have more than five million active wallets which aligns well with our mission of making web 3 more accessible and intuitive while serving the next billion users. Through seamless integration into existing Internet infrastructure we will not only expand our ecosystem but also move towards a more user-friendly web 3 experience."
Core chain is a first-layer blockchain driven by Bitcoin that adopts an innovative Satoshi Plus consensus mechanism combining the best aspects of proof-of-work and proof-of-stake. It leverages Bitcoin's existing decentralized infrastructure as nearly 50% of Bitcoin's computing power is used to protect Core chain. In addition, Core chain adopts EVM compatibility allowing focus on expanding use cases for creating applications related to Bitcoin.
