The Bitcoin transaction fee decreased after hitting a historical high of $128.45 on the day of halving

YCharts data shows that after reaching a historical high of $128.45 on the day of halving, the average fee paid per Bitcoin transaction dropped to $34.8 on April 21st. On Sunday, the total Bitcoin transaction fees fell from $81 million the previous day to $22.37 million.
