July 18 - The Runes protocol accounted for more than 50 percent of transactions on the Bitcoin network for 13 days since its launch on April 20, but it hasn't reached that level in more than four weeks since. As the Runes hype fades, BTC has regained a dominant position in the network's bandwidth allocation. BTC now accounts for 90.7 percent of all transactions on the blockchain. Among other Bitcoin protocols, runes remain dominant. On July 17, runes accounted for 7.9 percent of all transactions, while BRC-20 and Ordinals accounted for 1.1 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively.
