Viewpoint: SEC strongly implies in the approval of ETH spot ETF that "ETH is a commodity rather than a security".

The ETF Store President Nate Geraci cited an analysis report from the law firm Foley & Lardner LLP, pointing out that the most important development in the SEC's approval of ETH spot ETF is "SEC strongly suggesting that ETH is a commodity rather than a security."

 

In addition, "the approval order indicates that crypto assets can start as securities and transition into commodities over time."
