On August 29th, according to RIA Novosti, Telegram founder Pavel Durov spent over eight hours in a French court before the Paris prosecutor's office announced that he could be released after paying bail. Shortly afterwards, a convoy drove out of the courthouse, but it was soon discovered that the Telegram founder himself was not in the car. Eventually, Durov left the building an hour later, but he did not exit through the main entrance where journalists had gathered; instead he used a side door. There was a private minibus waiting for him there with security personnel and possibly his lawyer present. Before leaving, this entrepreneur put on a baseball cap and sunglasses. He made no comments and quickly got on the minibus. After accompanying men loaded items onto it, the bus swiftly headed towards Paris ring road.
