Telegram launches "Gifts" feature and will support TON-based NFTs in the future

Telegram has launched the "Gifts" gift feature, where recipients can display or sell their personal profiles to exchange for Telegram Stars. Some gifts are limited in quantity.

 

Later this year, Telegram will update its feature to allow limited edition gifts to be converted into TON-based NFTs. Users can auction and trade these tokenized gifts outside of Telegram, with ownership recorded on the blockchain.
