On October 7th, Web3 anti-fraud solution Scam Sniffer shared a screenshot of the closure of a TON-based wallet fund theft service. The service stated that there are not enough cryptocurrency giants in the community, which is detrimental to the business.
The hacker stated that due to TON's lack of major players and small community size, the service will be shut down and users will be directed towards stealing Bitcoin. The service also promoted another service and stated that its TON fund theft service will no longer return.
Meanwhile, Scam Sniffer data shows that about 10,800 victims were attacked by phishing in September, losing about $46.60 million. One phishing transaction stole over $32 million in cryptocurrency.
