On Oct. 15, U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris was more friendly on cryptocurrency policy than incumbent President Joe Biden, but less so than Trump, according to an analysis by Galaxy Research. Harris has promised to improve the regulatory environment for the U.S. crypto industry, but has taken a more cautious stance on issues such as taxes, bitcoin mining, and self-hosting, while Trump has supported bitcoin mining and promised to protect self-hosting rights. Nonetheless, Harris' policies may be more constructive than Biden's.
