Tesla (TSLA.O) closed up 14.75 per cent on Wednesday US time after Musk-backed Donald Trump took the US presidential election. Tesla's surge caused Musk, the company's founder and CEO, to see his fortune grow by $20.9 billion in a single day, bringing his total assets to $285.6 billion, well ahead of Jeff Bezos, who is ranked second on the world's richest list, data from Forbes' rich list showed.
