On November 28, Nasdaq-listed company Hilbert Group AB announced that it has agreed to acquire digital asset management company Liberty Road Capital (LRC). The structure of the acquisition is a pure equity purchase, including profits and prepayments. Hilbert Group will acquire all of Liberty Road's business, including all asset management agreements, existing customer relationships, all intellectual property rights and key employees.
The transaction setup ensures that Hilbert retains all total revenues from the acquired business. For this purpose, Hilbert Group and Liberty Road have signed a binding term sheet. The transaction is expected to be completed in January 2025. (Accesswire)
