TON ecosystem accelerates comprehensively: BTC liquidity integration, tens of millions of dollars investment support, and mainnet upgrade is imminent

On November 28th, the TON Foundation released the TON Teleport BTC white paper, announcing the introduction of Bitcoin liquidity into the TON ecosystem. Through the tokenized tgBTC, users can easily transfer Bitcoin in the Telegram Wallet and TON ecosystem. This move not only combines Bitcoin's profit opportunities and security standards, but also further strengthens the integration of TON and Telegram's huge user base.

 

On December 10th, OKX Ventures announced a $5 million investment in TON Ventures, the investment arm of TON, to support innovative TON projects. This investment follows the launch of OKX's $10 million Telegram Growth Center, which aims to collaborate with The Open Platform (TOP) and Folius Ventures to accelerate the development of the TON ecosystem.

 

In addition, the upgrade of the TON mainnet has also been put on the agenda. On December 9th, according to TON Status, mainnet validators and liteserver owners will undergo mandatory network updates on December 17th. This update will optimize database performance, add key backup functions, and further improve network security and efficiency.
