Bankless co-founder Ryan Sean Adams stated in a post on X: "Vitalik Buterin should receive the Nobel Prize in Economics for his work in cryptocurrency and Ethereum. 

However, he has hardly been considered, which shows the extent to which economists in ivory towers are disconnected from applied theory. Future generations will judge this harshly. Cryptocurrency is the greatest economic innovation of our time, yet it is ignored by 98% of economists."
