Aave Founder: ETH rise is only a matter of time, a 'revenge-style surge' will occur when it truly rises

Aave founder Stani Kulechov listed the advantages of Ethereum on social media, mainly including:

1. Highest Security

Ethereum has the highest security in a programmable execution environment. The most critical industry is the financial industry worth 25 trillion dollars.

2. DeFi's TVL (Total Value Locked)

The only product-market fit (PMF) on-chain is DeFi. Of the $122 billion in TVL, Ethereum carries more than half, almost six times that of the second-ranked.

3. Developer Ecosystem and Tools

DeFi protocols need robust network security and stability to support collateral products and data products dependent on oracle prices. The advantage of Ethereum lies in its developer ecosystem which has established powerful development tools such as Hardhat and Foundry etc.

4. EVM Innovation

Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) is the most valuable innovation within the Ethereum ecosystem. There isn't just one path for innovation but multiple competing solutions to provide optimal scalability and user privacy protection.

5.L2 Strategy (Enhancing Ethereum L1 Simultaneously)

Allowing L1 to provide maximum security for Ethereum while promoting innovation on L2. Every major trading platform or institution wants to run their own network; they require customization and economic incentives.

Stani concluded that the chain is full of short-term (very high-risk) opportunities, which may attract temporary attention, but in the long run, fundamentals are what truly matter. 

The ecosystem and its users who focus most on fundamentals will gain the most adoption. The rise in ETH's price is only a matter of time, but when it does rise significantly, it will be an epic revenge-style surge.
