Glassnode: Bitcoin Market Dominance Breaks 57%, May Continue 2020 Cycle Pattern

Crypto research firm Glassnode said in a post on social media platforms that Bitcoin's market dominance is climbing. After bottoming out at around 54% in December 2024, Bitcoin's dominance has surpassed 57% in January 2025.

This trend is similar to the 2020 cycle, when Bitcoin's dominance bottomed out at about 60 percent in November 2020 and then rose to 69 percent in January 2021 before beginning to fall.
