Helium Mobile has introduced an exciting new offer that could change the wireless industry. The company has opened the waitlist for its innovative “Zero Plan.” This plan gives users a free 5G wireless service that includes 3GB of data, 300 texts, and 100 minutes of calls monthly, all at no cost. With high demand, the company encourages interested users to join the waitlist to secure their spot in this new plan.

Helium Mobile Users Have a Lot to Benefit

Interestingly, Helium’s Zero Plan offers more than just phone service. The plan aims to make wireless access cheaper and more rewarding for everyone. A unique feature of this service is that users can earn crypto tokens. If an individual runs a node, a small device that helps support the network, the individual will receive Helium tokens for sharing internet connection with nearby users. 

It is worth noting that these tokens are created on the Solana blockchain. Meanwhile, Helium offers rewards beyond cryptocurrency in the form of Cloud Points. Users can earn these points by anonymously sharing their location, completing surveys, or referring friends. Also, users can use the Cloud Points to get gift cards for popular stores and experiences, adding extra value for users.

However, the company saw a massive influx of users, considering Helium’s cheap rate. 

Meanwhile, Helium Mobile decided to go with the offering after completing a limited trial in Miami some years back. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Snap users clamoring for access to more data benefit significantly from the new service.

Before now, Helium MObile has been a recognized entity in its industry, with services that fuse the peer-to-peer Helium Network, an internet-of-things project that uses the Solana blockchain, and a nationwide 5G network . It has been over two years since the Layer-1 blockchain migrated to the Solana ecosystem . This followed its community’s votes favoring Helium Improvement Proposal 70 (HIP 70).
