A Reuters survey shows that out of 99 economists, 57 believe the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates once or twice more this year (in a January survey, 56 out of 102 economists expected this).
Of the surveyed 101 economists, 67 believe that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates at least once before the end of June (in a January survey, nearly 60% of economists predicted a rate cut by the end of March).
Out of 46 economists, 27 said that inflation risks due to tariffs have recently increased, while17 reported no change and two indicated a decrease.
