Ethereum (ETH), BNB and other major altcoins have pumped notably today while Bitcoin is taking rest and consolidating near $96,000. The Mid-cap crypto assets have shown significant traction with rising over 10% in the past 24 hours.
The biggest daily gainer currently is PanCakeSwap’s CAKE token, which has spiked 52% in 24 hours alone and over 100% in the past 7 days. This spike in CAKE price has come ahead of the DEX announcing weekly revenue sharing of over $1.9m worth of tokens to stakers.
CAKE Price – Source: Coinmarketcap Sonic (previously known as Fantom) is also one of the biggest gainer today with it surging over 14.80%, followed by JTO’s 12% and BNB’s 11% pump. Other mid-cap altcoins – including LDO, SUI, ATOM, ENS, DOT – have also increased notably.
Popular memecoins like TRUMP, POPCAT, BabyDoge, TOSHI and PENGU have also spiked over 8% with the total memecoin market cap now breaking above $70 billion.
According to Coinmarketcap data , the global crypto market cap today sits at $3.18 trillion with a 24 hour trading volume of $133 billion.
