On February 20th, Story Protocol announced that it has joined the content authenticity initiative organization C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity), aiming to verify the source and history of digital media, promote intellectual property (IP) on the blockchain, and make it verifiable, programmable, and authorizable. Story stated that Proud is participating in C2PA with founding members such as Adobe, Arm, BBC, Intel, Microsoft, and Truepic to strengthen the application and development of digital IP on the blockchain.
At the same time, the Story agreement also announced a research collaboration with the Stanford Future Digital Currency Initiative (Stanford FDCI), whose engineering team will assist Stanford FDCI in solving open research problems in the blockchain field. The collaboration will focus on key areas such as high-throughput concurrent processing, seamless integration with Story's existing multi-core architecture, and hardware-level smart contract execution. This research collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of Story's roadmap and enhance the future potential of the blockchain execution environment.
