This week, the Libra cryptocurrency scandal that shocked Argentine politics entered a new phase after Argentine lawyer Gregorio Dalbon officially requested the international community to detain Hayden Davis.
The request was submitted to Chief Prosecutor Eduardo Taiano and Judge María Servini on Tuesday, asking Interpol to issue a red notice for Davis's arrest and extradition from the United States.
Dalbon, who once served as an acting lawyer for former Argentine President Cristina Fernandez in a corruption case, did not immediately respond to multiple requests for comment from Decrypt. Requests sent by Decrypt to Davis's lawyers also went unanswered.
