Meta releases new artificial intelligence model series Llama 4

Meta Company released its best artificial intelligence model to date on Saturday - Llama 4. The series includes four new models: Llama 4 Scout, Llama 4 Maverick and Llama 4 Behemoth. Meta stated that all these models have been trained with "a large amount of unlabelled text, image and video data" to give them a "broad visual understanding capability". The Scout and Maverick models are publicly available on the Llama.com website as well as from Meta's partners, while the Behemoth model is still in training. Meta announced that its AI assistant, Meta AI has been updated to use the Llama 4 model in 40 countries. Currently, multimodal features are only available in English in the United States.
