PANews reported on May 28 that according to Cointelegraph, U.S. SEC documents revealed that BlackRock's "Strategic Income Opportunities Portfolio" has been continuously increasing its holdings in its own Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), with holdings reaching 2.12 million shares (valued at $99.4 million) as of March 31, a 25% increase from the end of 2024. This bond-type investment portfolio uses the Bitcoin ETF as a diversification tool, reflecting the growing institutional recognition of crypto assets.

As the largest Bitcoin ETF in the U.S., IBIT currently has an asset management scale of $72 billion, with daily net inflows exceeding $500 million multiple times since May. Bitwise predicts that total inflows into Bitcoin ETFs could reach $120 billion by 2025 and are expected to surpass $300 billion by 2026.
