According to Jinse Finance, Arthur Hayes believes that Ethereum may rise to $5,000 this year, nearly doubling in price and potentially reaching a new all-time high, despite the asset's recent underperformance compared to other competing projects like Bitcoin and Solana.
At the Bitcoin2025 conference held in Las Vegas, Arthur Hayes told Decrypt, "I think ETH could rise to $4,000 to $5,000 this year. I feel it is currently the most despised L1 public chain, and usually, when the market cycle reverses, you should hold the most hated assets, so I think ETH's performance might outperform others."
Arthur Hayes' latest prediction also continues his bullish stance on Bitcoin, as he stated earlier this month that Bitcoin's price could rise to $1 million by 2028.
