Iran: Only the Above-Ground Section of the Fordow Nuclear Facility Was Damaged and It Is Repairable

According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, Meynam Raeisi, the parliamentary representative for Qom Province, stated earlier today (June 22, local time) that contrary to claims made by U.S. President Trump, Iran's Fordow nuclear facility was not severely damaged; the main damage was to the above-ground structures, which are repairable. He noted that he believes "all items that could pose a threat to nearby residents" have long been removed from the facility, and there have been no reports of nuclear radiation. He emphasized that Iran regards this U.S. attack as a sign of direct American involvement in the war, and that "it is now up to Iran to decide when and how to respond to the United States."
