Odaily Planet Daily reports that Zama, a cryptography company providing fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) for blockchain, has announced the completion of a $57 million Series B funding round, led by Blockchange Ventures and Pantera Capital. This round brings Zama’s total funding to over $150 million and its valuation to over $1 billion, earning it a place in the “unicorn club.” The Zama protocol enables developers to build encrypted decentralized applications (dapps) without requiring deep cryptographic expertise. Its use cases are wide-ranging, from confidential stablecoin issuance and asset tokenization to private authentication and governance in networked environments. (CoinDesk)
