According to ChainCatcher, CME "FedWatch" data shows there is an 18.6% probability of a 25 basis point rate cut in July, and an 81.4% probability that rates will remain unchanged.
The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep rates unchanged through September is 8.6%, with a 74.8% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut, and a 16.6% chance of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut.
The next two FOMC meetings are scheduled for July 30 and September 17.
