According to ChainCatcher, citing Jintou, a survey released by Deloitte on Monday shows that, in the eyes of UK corporate executives, the appeal of the United States as an investment destination has dropped sharply, and they now see more opportunities in domestic and neighboring markets.
Deloitte’s survey of chief financial officers at large UK companies found that only +2% of respondents consider the US an attractive investment destination, a significant decline from late 2024 (+59% shortly before Trump took office).
In contrast, Deloitte noted that UK corporate executives have shown a marked increase in interest in their own market, with the net attractiveness of investing in the UK rising from -12% to +13%, tying with India as the most attractive investment destination.
