Gata releases global large-scale real user ChatGPT conversation dataset ChatGPT-RealUser-2.2M

ChainCatcher reported that the decentralized AI infrastructure company Gata has announced the launch of the global large-scale real user ChatGPT conversation dataset, ChatGPT-RealUser-2.2M. This dataset was collected through Gata's GPT-to-Earn program (with voluntary user participation), amassing over 2.24 million real conversations and nearly 3.56 million Q&A pairs from more than 15,000 real users between 2024 and 2025, covering interactions with GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and o1.

According to the introduction, this dataset is approximately twice the size of similar datasets previously released by the Allen Institute for AI, covers real-world scenarios and multi-turn conversations, and, due to the on-chain incentive mechanism, contains a large number of crypto-related interactions. A preview version with 600 conversation samples has been released on Hugging Face, and the complete dataset is available for research and commercial applications.

It is reported that in May 2025, Gata announced the completion of a $4 million seed round of financing, with participation from YZi Labs, IDG Blockchain, and others.
