3.Web3 banking OS Vaulta (formerly EOS Network) will
rename its token from EOS to A today. The swap will be 1:1 with

4.VanEck will launch a new crypto-related ETF
“NODE” today. It will invest in 30–60 publicly listed companies connected to the digital asset economy, including

Trump: Markets Will Soar; Fed Must Cut Rates On May 14, President Trump once again declared that “
the stock market will soar” and urged Fed Chair Powell to
cut interest rates.
“There is no inflation. Gas, energy, groceries, and almost all goods are dropping in price. The Fed must lower rates like Europe and China,” Trump wrote. He criticized Powell as “Mr. Too Late,” calling the current Fed stance unfair for an economy poised for growth. “Let it all happen naturally — it would be a beautiful thing,” he added.
2.Trump to
Announce
Next Trade Deal Upon Return National Economic Council Director
Kevin Hassett said Trump will announce a
new trade agreement upon returning from his Middle East visit. There are reportedly
20–25 deals currently on the table.
3.SEC Delays Decision on BlackRock Bitcoin ETF In-Kind Redemptions The SEC has
delayed its decision on BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust's request to allow
in-kind redemptions, which would enable ETF share creations and redemptions
in BTC instead of cash, potentially improving efficiency.
The SEC is now
seeking public comments on this change.
Similar comment periods have been opened for
Grayscale’s Litecoin and Solana trusts and
21Shares’ Dogecoin ETF proposal.
4.SEC Chair Delivers First Crypto-Focused Speech New SEC Chair
Paul Atkins emphasized that securities are
shifting from off-chain databases to blockchain-based ledgers.His agenda includes:

5.Abraxas Capital Buys $477M in ETH Within a Week As of 01:10 AM today, London-based Abraxas Capital has bought
211,030 ETH ($477.6M) in six days, including
33,482 ETH ($84.7M) in the past 12 hours alone.
They first borrowed
$240M in USDT from Aave, then deposited it to CEXs.
Analyst
Min Jung (Presto Research) noted
ETH/BTC ratio is down ~40% YTD, currently around
0.02, attracting buyer interest.
6.Public Companies Continue Building Crypto Positions
Twenty One acquired
4,812 BTC at an average price of $95,300, totaling ~$458.7M using
Tether.
Backed by
Tether, Bitfinex, Cantor Fitzgerald, and
SoftBank, the company will launch with
42,000+ BTC in reserves, valued at ~$3.9B.
