US judge drops fraud charges against Mango Markets attackers
according to Cointelegraph, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian dismissed Eisenberg's charges of commodity fraud and market manipulation.
The judge ruled that the evidence presented in court was not enough to support the jury's conclusion that Avraham Eisenberg made significant false statements to Mango Markets. Eisenberg made a profit of $1.1 billion in 2022 using a vulnerability in the decentralized exchange Mango Markets, and in April 2024, he was convicted of telecommunications fraud, commodity fraud, and market manipulation.
