【APP】How to create a referral code/link on the affiliate portal?

Referral codes and links are essential tools for affiliates to invite new users. Each code is unique and comes with a corresponding referral link. When a new user signs up through your referral code/link, they automatically become your direct referral. Whenever your referrals trade on the platform, you will earn a rebate based on the rate you set, making your custom referral code/link the first step toward passive income! Let's walk through the process of creating your referral code/link on the affiliate portal.

Create referral code/link on Bitget app

Step 1: Open the Bitget app. If you are an affiliate, you'll see the affiliate icon on the homepage. If not, tap your profile icon in the top left, then tap the affiliate icon in the top right to enter the portal.

Step 2: On the Homepage of the affiliate backend, scroll down to the My referral promotions section and tap More to access the Referral Center.

Step 3: Go to the Referral Promotion page, scroll down to view all created referral links. Tap Create Referral Code to proceed. You can configure the rebate percentages that you and your direct referrals receive from the spot, futures and Onchain transaction fee they generate.

Step 4: Create a custom referral code/link.

• If you want to keep the full rebate from your direct referrals' transaction fees, set the direct referral rebate to 0%.
• If you want to enable a two-way rebate link, allowing your direct referrals to receive a portion of the rebate, set the direct referral rebate to any value greater than 0%.

For example, if your total rebate rate is 40% and you set a 10% rebate for your direct referrals, your actual rebate rate will be adjusted to 30%. For any transaction fees generated by direct referrals who sign up using this referral code/link, 10% will go to them, and you'll receive 30% as your rebate.

Note: The maximum rebate percentage you can offer to direct referrals is 20%.

Step 5: Once you receive the Created notification, scroll down to find your new link in the Referral link details. You can click the link and set it as your default. It will then appear on the Homepage of your affiliate backend.

Step 6: You can view the total rebate amount, number of direct referrals, and number of traders for each link to evaluate its performance in user acquisition. Tap the Copy button to easily share the link with your clients.
