Did some highly speculative calculations around @theblessnetwork rewards for yappers and testers based on the available info. This one could cook hard, and here is why: ➀ What we know: - Dual token model: 10B BLESS (fixed), 100M TIME issued per epoch - Distribution: 35% Community, 10% Airdrop, 16.25% Investors, 15% Team, 20.75% Ecosystem/Foundation, 3% Advisors - Testnet has been referred to as epoch 0 and has been running since November 2024 - 15% of supply initially circulating at TGE based on release schedule - Yappers get 5% of total TIME supply over a period of 2 months - The total airdrop amounts to 10% of BLESS supply (incl. testers) - Token release schedule showing 84-month timeline until full dilution - Value capture mechanics: 90% of revenue buys back and burns BLESS Unfortunately, there is also a lot of stuff we don't yet know, and the official communication leaves a lot of gaps (e.g. around TIME to BLESS conversion, number and duration of epochs, exact TGE date, etc.). ➁ So what's the most likely scenario? Assuming that a total of 45% of supply (Airdrop + Community) will be distributed via TIME, creates a natural conversion rate: 1 TIME = 0.45 BLESS (note there will be different rates in reality due to the impact of conversion lockup). Given that 10% of the total supply are allocated to a TGE airdrop that will make up 2/3 of the initially circulating supply, and (as mentioned above) assuming that it is distributed in the form of TIME (which testnet nodes already earn and 5% of which is dedicated to yappers), that would mean an initial TIME distribution via airdrop of 2.22B TIME upon the end of epoch 0 (the testnet which has kicked off in Novemeber 2024). These 2.22B TIME represent exactly 1B BLESS (the 10% airdrop allocation), and if yappers get 5% of total TIME supply (issued across all epochs), that would equal 501M TIME, representing a total of 225.45M BLESS or 2.25% of supply. Meanwhile, testnet node runners / compute providers that have been accumulating TIME in the past months will also eat well, with a lot of the remaining 7.75% in airdrop allocation likely going to them. Based on these assumptions and given the confirmed 100M TIME issued per epoch, this would also mean that after the special testnet/TGE epoch, we will see 78 epochs of roughly a month until the BLESS supply is fully diluted after a total of 84 months post-TGE. More specifically, that would mean one epoch averages 32 days, which could align with monthly reward cycles, with 0.45% of BLESS being issued roughly monthly via TIME to inventivize node runners, content creators, and other contributors to the ecosystem (curious to see if that means yapping will be a long term thing here). ➂ What does it mean for yappers if this is true? As already briefly mentioned above, @theblessnetwork have confirmed that 5% of TIME supply will be issued to yappers over a period of two months (end of june - end of august, with the latter likely coinciding with mainnet + TGE). Assuming my calculations from above hold, yappers would get 2.25% of BLESS supply as rewards, a truly significant allocation that means a multi-million dollar payday. More specifically (also check visuals): ➤ Yapper Total Pool Values: - At $100M FDV: $2.25M total pool - At $500M FDV: $11.27M total pool - At $1B FDV: $22.55M total pool ➤ Individual Rewards (Power Law, Top 500): - Rank #1: $67.5K-$675K depending on FDV - Rank #10: $27K-$270K - Rank #50: $9K-$90K - Rank #250: $1.35K-$13.5K ➤ Individual Rewards (If 5000 Yappers): - Rank #1: $49.5K-$495K (more diluted than 500) - Rank #50: $6.75K-$67.5K - Rank #250: $1.58K-$15.75K - Rank #500: $900-$9K - Rank #750: $563-$5.6K ➤ Mindshare Rewards (Proportional Model): - 1% mindshare: $22.5K-$225K - 0.1% mindshare: $2.25K-$22.5K - 0.01% mindshare: $225-$2.25K ➃ Critical Unknowns: - Actual TIME to BLESS conversion (0.45 is inference) - Distribution method (power law vs mindshare) - Qualifying participant count (500 vs 5000 changes everything) - Lockup conversion bonus, potential multipliers and detailed criteria - How Kaito exactly measures "5% of TIME supply" allocation ➄ Bottom Line: - If <1000 yappers qualify, even mid-tier positions earn very, very juicy rewards, whereas if 5000+ qualify, only top 50-100 wil see significant money - Zero capital at risk and bounded time effort still makes this pure upside asymmetry for content creators with significant TGE payout potential - At $250M-$500M FDV (reasonable for AI×DePIN infra), consistent top 100 will easily earn 5-figure rewards. - Promising tokenomics with 90% of revenue used for BLESS buyback & burn could make for sustainable longterm bet if adoption is there Are you going to be $BLESS-ed with $TIME anon?
