How Fuse (FUSE) Works
Fuse is an open, decentralized, and permissionless Ethereum-compatible blockchain platform that allows anyone to make transactions, run validating nodes, and build applications without restrictions. It supports seamless deployment of applications from other Ethereum-based chains, offering a user-friendly experience with features like account abstraction, a comprehensive SDK, and fast confirmation times under 5 seconds, along with low transaction costs around $0.0001.
The native token, FUSE, is used for transaction fees, payments, validation, voting on protocol changes, and staking. Users can stake FUSE to become validators or delegate it to other validators. A transition to Fuse Ember, a layer-2 platform based on
Polygon CDK, is planned to improve throughput, reduce costs, and enhance interoperability with other Polygon chains. Proposed changes to FUSE's tokenomics aim to implement a deflationary model and establish a maximum supply by August 2024.
