The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has submitted a Form B-4 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), allowing for the listing and trading of "commodity-based trust stock" options. Henry Jim, a member of Bloomberg ETF Intelligence team, posted on X that this application is an important step towards discovering Bitcoin ETFs and the broader cryptocurrency market. If the SEC approves this application, it will allow options trading through NYSE in a regulated manner, further bringing new investment opportunities for traders interested in Bitcoin (including retail and institutional investors).
