Microsoft just became the second company to reach a $3 trillion market cap, but this week it plans to judge 1,900 people at its Activision Blizzard and Xbox divisions. Although these judgements represent about 8 % of the total workforce of Microsoft's gaming division (about 22,000), most of them will take place in the Activision Blizzard division. Three months ago, Microsoft ended up buying the tech giant for $69 billion after a meticulous regulatory battle. An upcoming survival game from Blizzard has reportedly been cancelled, with Blizzard president Mike Ybarra and chief design officer Allen Adham also bowing out. However, it has been reported that Blizzard is currently working on other games, and the employees specifically responsible for the cancelled game will be reassigned to other departments.
