Worldcoin (WLD), the token associated with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, reached a new all-time high on Thursday. Simultaneously, other tokens related to artificial intelligence (AI) experienced widespread gains. The rise in AI cryptocurrency prices began on Wednesday evening following chip manufacturer Nvidia's announcement of better-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings and first-quarter guidance. Leading the surge was Worldcoin's WLD, which saw a 40% increase on the day and nearly 170% surge over the past seven days. The token reached a new record of $8.85, with a current trading price of $8.54 at the time of writing. Worldcoin, co-founded by OpenAI's Sam Altman, is often associated with AI-related projects. The token for decentralized AI marketplace SingularityNET (AGIX) rose by 43%, while FetchAI (FET) saw an 18% increase. Other AI-related tokens that experienced gains on Thursday include Graph (GRT) with a 17% increase and Render (RNDR) with a 23% increase.
