EthHub Lianchuang: EIP-4844 adds a new transaction type blobspace to Ethereum
EthHub co-founder sassal.eth stated on social media, "Why do I think EIP-4844/proto-danksharding is great?
-EIP-4844 adds a new transaction type, blobspace, to Ethereum, which aims to reduce the cost of rollups/layer 2;
-Blobspace has its own independent fee market, which means they are not affected by the non-Blobspace tx fee spikes on L1;
-Blobspace "expires" in about 18 days, which means the storage burden added to Ethereum full nodes is small (maintaining decentralization);
-Increasing the number and size of Blobspaces is very easy and can be done in every future hard fork;
-EIP-4844 lays the foundation for fully danksharding data availability sampling, which will bring greater scalability to layer 2;
As part of the Dencun upgrade, EIP-4844 will go live on March 13th, and Blobspace is coming soon.
