Thai regulator to crack down on deceptive cryptocurrency ads

Bitget2024/04/29 10:13

Golden Finance reported that according to the Bangkok Post, cryptocurrency advertisements that contain false, exaggerated, distorted, concealed or misleading information violate Thai regulations. Regulators in major crypto markets have also taken similar measures to minimize losses in crypto investments. The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission reminded cryptocurrency exchanges to include appropriate warnings about investment risks and avoid attracting new users through special promotions, and warned that violations of relevant guidelines will result in "punishment in accordance with the law."
