Harris leads Trump by 5 points in 2024 election

Vice President Kamala Harris flipped four of the six swing states on Polymarket, including Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Nevada, as the 2024 election nears, according to Cointelegraph.
Harris has the largest lead in Michigan at 66 percent, followed by Wisconsin at 58 percent, and Pennsylvania and Nevada at 52 percent and 51 percent, respectively.
In the prediction market, Harris' margin of victory in the 2024 presidential election rose to 52 percent, compared to Trump's 47 percent, a five-point lead.
Trump's poor performance in the first debate caused his odds to drop by 3 percent, but then recovered to equal Harris.
Some cryptocurrency voters reduced their support for Trump after he announced a token offering for his decentralized financial project, World Liberty Financial.
Harris' campaign policy platform made no mention of cryptocurrencies, but included policies to strengthen Social Security, student loan relief, and $25,000 down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers.
The market sees Trump's election as favorable for cryptocurrency prices and Harris' election as unfavorable. However, Geoff Kendrick, Head of Global Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, believes that regardless of the outcome of the election, the price of Bitcoin will reach $200,000 by the end of 2025.
