The whale address that had accumulated a large amount of ETH transferred 8,600 ETH to CEX

According to on-chain data analyst @ai_9684xtpa, a certain whale/institutional address that heavily accumulated ETH in 2016 transferred 8,600 ETH (approximately $21.36 million) to a CEX exchange 20 minutes ago. If all sold, it would yield a profit of $21.25 million.

It is reported that this address had previously transferred out 172,707 ETH seven years ago (July-August 2016) from Poloniex and contract addresses at an average cost of $12.83 per coin. Prior to the transfer, it still held 47,017 tokens with a total unrealized gain of $116 million. Since 2024, this address has deposited a total of 13,200 ETH worth $31.47 million into CEX exchanges.
