According to Glassnode data, the Bitcoin hashrate (14-day moving average) has reached a historical high of 566 EH/s. Since the low point during the severe cold freeze in Texas, the hashrate has increased by 12%. It is expected that the next mining difficulty adjustment (scheduled around February 15th) will increase by 7% to 12%.
Based on data from Clarkmoody.com, the increase in hashrate may lead to an earlier halving date for the Bitcoin network. The mining difficulty was adjusted to 75.5 T on February 2nd.
