After the launch of the decentralized social protocol Farcaster's mini-program Frames, its co-founder Dan Romero was interviewed. He stated that currently, creators and users have no direct contact, and developers do not have access to API permissions. The biggest misunderstanding people have about decentralized social media is that they are difficult to use. Frames allows developers to create experiences for users, and it is expected that within five years, decentralized social platforms can reach a user level of 1 billion. Dan Romero also revealed that he and Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam were college roommates but initially mistook Bitcoin for a Ponzi scheme. After carefully reading the white paper, they completely changed their minds and went to work at Coinbase. They have now been working in the crypto industry for ten years.
